It is not time to stop thinking about the Haiti earthquake, National Healthcare, Unemployment, or the environment, but after you have thought about all our problems, give yourself a short break and come work on your scrapbook, take a class, or remember all the things and people you love. The Hang-Out @ Memory Magic & More is the place to come whether you are young or old, or somewhere in between. I have tried to schedule a variety of activities and would be happy to schedule a special time if you would like to come with friends, colleagues, to crop or for a birthday celebration. Though I am now focusing on the process, there are plenty of the basic products to purchase. (Even have things hidden in the closet that I would be glad to show you.) February 2010 Class Descriptions

4th-March 25th- Scrapbook Storytelling- 4-5:15 This seven week class is for children ages 6-10. Children will hear a story each week and create a scrapbook that reflects those stories and their own individuality. In the process they will learn scrapbooking techniques, learn to use fun tools and leave with a scrapbook of their own. The last week (week #7) we will share and celebrate! $75 + $12 materials
6th -Families First Storytelling: 1-2: Bring your children to Families First-Call for reservations and directions.
13th or 14th Ten Things That I Love About You-Come create a small book showing things you love about a special someone. Bring photos and use fun tools to create illustrations.$20 (includes materials) 2:00-4:00
15th (President's Day)- Kid's Freedom Note Paper Class-2-4. Children will give a quote about what freedom means to them, illustrate the front and write a note to a person serving in the military. I will then get the design printed, add envelopes and have the children send along a package of note paper with a pen, so the troops can respond. They will also have a package of their own. $27 (includes materials)

20th & 21st -Getting Down To Basics- 2:00-3:00-Don't put it off any longer. Get those photos out of boxes and get started. You will learn to organize your pictures, crop, round corners, back, and lay out your pages. Bring in 8-12 photos and leave with completed pages. $12    

27th & 28th-Come & Crop- Bring your photos, materials and ideas and use the non-consumable tools here to work on your favorite project. 11-5 (Sat.) and 12-4 (Sun.) $15 (Any time nothing is scheduled, make a reservation to come in.)
